Feast 2010 Pilgrimage

The statue of St Catherine of Alexandria was carried shoulder high around the streets of Zejtun in a pilgrimage with the participation of several organisations in Zejtun including the Beland Band Club Administration Committee and subcommittees. This concluded this year's feast which was celebrated in a very intimate manner without any external celebrations following the tragedy that took the life of Ganni Abela at the Zejtun Fireworks Factory.

It was amazing to note the amount of people who attended and followed the statue all the way during this pilgrimage, this is the real proof showing that r feast is all about our love and respect to the Patron, the external celebrations we are accustomed with were never the center point of the feast but merely a more expressive way how the Zejtun citizens can show their feelings towards St Catherine.

Although we had no active role in this year's feast, Sezzjoni Partitarji Belandisti would like to thank all those who have provided their support throughout the year and we promise to make up for what was not possible to be done this year in the year to come.
